It was hard travel though--very hard as we did it all using local transportation (Jeepneys). I don't know if I'd advise you do it alone with the two kids based on their age. However, if you head straight for Pagapud on the far north-western tip of the island, you should find beautiful paradise! It's about 6-8hrs from Manila, but they have proper buses that go there as it's a popular weekend getaway destination (hint: best NOT to arrive on Friday or Sat!). Also, Vigan is along the way and is a quaint little town (World Heritage Listed) but again, best not to arrive on a weekend (at least without a reservation!). Hope this helps!

And thanks for your kind comment :)With 2 Kids In Towhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17698525647389998509noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-487999432961323989.post-78696136278920919262015-01-25T23:39:54.860-08:002015-01-25T23:39:54.860-08:00I stumbled across your blog while searching for in...I stumbled across your blog while searching for info about traveling with kids in the Philippines. And I do enjoy them! And I told a lot of friends and telling them your stories(hope you don;t mind). India is my fav nation and I have been there with my kids many times. Oh ~ forgot to mention, I am from Taiwan, my two boys are turning 3 and 6 this Feb and March 2015. When I was younger, I myself have been to most of the developed countries but now(since 10 years ago) I am more into developing or under developed countries.

I am planning to take kids to a warmer place this winter and the Philippines came into my mind first as we've ever been to Boracay when my older son was turning 2, namely 4 years ago, And it was a great experience. This time I plan to take two kids to travel some other parts of this country for say one month time. I am quite panic and wary actually(as I am mother of two kids and only ME alone travel with them).... as many other travelers say...they had no idea about this country at all and even thought it was a dangerous place.

Well....I have read most of your posts about the Philippines....and I still feel a bit unease and...I don't know how to describe my feel as I can understand how difficult to travel with two young kids and it seems to me that many places where it's impossible to use the stroller but I can not even backpack the baby as I have to carry all the stuff by myself....

Do you have any other suggestions for my circumstances or your fav beach in the Philippines will probably be the only destination we'd go. hehe

Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17569760503244219999noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-487999432961323989.post-22624007536917662652012-06-16T03:00:19.707-07:002012-06-16T03:00:19.707-07:00Thank you! Digital cameras make it easy to practice--just keep shooting and check your results afterwards to see how it turned out. plus there's lots of websites and good books to give you tips on composition. and editing such as cropping, helps too!
