We’ve
been back 7 months now, and have just added to our family of four. Daisy was born 9 March 2012 and has
beautiful soft golden curls, black-brown eyes and is gentle yet playful. At present, she weighs about 4.6kg (10lbs) and is of average height--she's not going to be a 'big' girl. Our girls are over-the-moon with Daisy, and the I think the feeling is mutual.

Daisy is
a Poochon pup, which is a cross between a Miniature Poodle and a Bichon
Frise. Their coats are woollen so they
don’t shed and are actually hypoallergenic. Her
size makes her an ideal indoor/outdoor dog--she won't get much bigger than she is now.
Yasmine
in particular, has always had a soft spot for dogs and has pined for one since
we had to find Eddie a new home when we went on our trip. She's been working on her Dad to get her a new dog since our return.
So does
this mean that we are staying put for a while??
Time will tell. In the meantime,
the girls are enjoying having a pet to care for and to play with, while Mom is
kept busy with a new toddler in the house.
What a sweet dog! And if you want to hit the road again, she can come with you.:-)

ReplyDeleteHi Diya!
DeleteThere certainly are 'pluses' to being home, but miss the travel lifestyle too, especially the lack of domestic duties ;)
